Just so you know, I am still alive.
I think I'm skipping OBS, probably not gonna blog about those five days of my life 'cause I've no time to recall and type all the details, as much as I would want to. But anyway my watch was Raffles, my instructor was LJ and the people in my group were Ahn, Celine, Crystal, Esther, Fu Ying, Jenny, Joanna, Jolyn, Magdelene, Michelle, Ruo Ting, Shamira, Thao and Yuqing. We did cooking, pitching, climbing, trekking, tri-yaking and jetty-jumping. Yeah, I'm just amazed that I managed to return in one whole piece. I opened a can for the first time and learnt some Vietnamese language from the Vitenam scholars. Happy belated Birthday to Xin En (18th) and Ying Xuan (19th)! We were dropped at school after OBS and I felt so damn vulnerable without a handphone, just lots of 10-cent coins for payphones. Xin En and I cabbed to Compass Point, stupid taxi driver asked us about PIE, ECP, WTH. Had dinner (oh my god pizza) then lugged a big bag with a small hole home like a runaway kid on the way home and told Mummy 'meh eio gong eu meh'.
Saturday, 20 January I woke up at past 4 in the afternoon after sleeping for 18 hours, I only broke my record by one hour though. At night I went for dinner with Mummy and Emily at Outram Park, the MRT was really empty so Emily and I got crazy. After dinner we actually walked to Chinatown, hoping to see some lightings or whatever but the were not even up yet so. Oh, check out that super distinct tan line on my arm. It's peeling so freaking badly now and I refuse to go home by public transport 'cause I don't want people to think I have skin desease. I need my birthday wish now, I WISH THAT MY SKIN PEELS FASTER. Elyssa, you can use your birthday wish to wish for me, hahaha :) Lynn asked me to take pictures of the process of my hands peeling but she didn't know that I was already doing so, hahaha. I'll post it or something after I peel completely.
Sunday, 21 January Woke up damn early and auspiciously at 8, wanted to be healthy so Mummy and I walked all the way from home to Jalan Kayu, which was just faaar. We had roti prata for breakfast and then we walked to a farm in Avenue 6. And then wanted to take a bus home but we went in the wrong direction and landed in Ang Mo Kio, so went impromptu shopping and went home. Then later at night the family went to check out Sheng Siong (sp?) supermarket, Emily and I had an educational tour, we went round looking at the living organisms. I still prefer Shop 'n' Save, it's so much more clean and organised. Basically I saw a lot of animals and plants that day! (I hate how I blog with so little details now, but what to do, no time)
Monday, 22 January Jia En's off to OBS so we didn't meet up with Wan En, postponed to next week. So after school Beatrice and I had lunch in school and then decided to go over to her place with Sher Meen (her neighbour). Beatrice got a puppy and he's very irritating!! What's his name? He kept licking me (not like cannot lick, but no need lick unil so enthusiastic what!) and pestering us so we locked him out at the balcony, hahaha how mean. But he's very cute anyway. I couldn't even get a clear picture of him 'cause he is damn hyperactive! Did a little bit of homework with Beatrice after Sher Meen left and then my parents fetched me after work.
Tuesday, 23 January Art after school and I swear I put my heart into doing my first piece of art work of the year, designing the cover for Founder's Day 2007. I'm not going to slack in Art Club anymore because it is already very slack with only one session per week. And I really need some masterpieces to make my portfolio look better. Later in the evening, Mummy and I went to the clinic 'cause my wound at my thigh is releasing pusssss and bloooood so it's scary I could have possibly gotten infection or something but fortunately I didn't. Then I conveniently asked if there was treatment for sunburn peeling but he just told me to wait for it to peel -.- We only went into the GP's room for less than two minutes and the fee was $34 what the hell, easy money man I'm going to be a doctor when I grow up.
Wednesday, 24 January Lunch at Singapore Swimming Club before going for tuition. The oreo cheesecake rocks as much as Starbucks'. Tuition was pretty bad because I only finished half the assignment in two hours, I'm really depressed because my brain is really not functioning after the long break. And what's more, Weihui wasn't there. After tuition the parents fetched and I went to Compass Point for dinner plus make new and stronger retainers. I think the dental centre I go to really sucks 'cause you know the first set of retainers they gave me cracked and there are even holes in it now and my lower set of teeth is going out of shape!?
Thursday, 25 January As I said, I didn't want to take public transport home and I did not have any programmes for after school so I stayed at the library to do my homework and waited till my parents fetch me after work, hahaha oh my god I'm such a loser. Collected my retainers and they are very uncomfortable, I can't really speak clearly 'cause it's like thick rubber.
Friday, 26 January Happy Birthday to Elyssa again! TGIF (Thank God It's Friday), learnt that from Si Min :) School is starting to get better with new friends even though I don't get anything in Chemistry and Mathematics.
